A 4-step system

Repair a thread in four steps

1. 01

   Drill

   Drill out the damaged thread with the correctly sized drill bit.

2. 02

   Cut the thread

   Cut a new thread with the thread tap included in the kit.

3. 03

   Install the insert

   Wind the thread insert into the hole with the installation tool.

4. 04

   Remove the tang

   Break off the installation tang — the thread is repaired.
